its doable, but i think u'll have trouble with the darknesses since one cast of SS at 12 curse won't be able to kill them. You'll have to keep up spiritbond, ps, and recast SS. Not a easy thing to do when u got them draining enregy and interrupting.
doable, but very risky imo.

Smite hex won't kill you. Take 27 smite hexes, thats 27 triggers of spirit bond.
Thats alot of life gain there. I say let the smite hexes keep coming, it's reliable damage and triggers Spiteful spirit

Awsome dude. I was skeptical of fully commiting myself to this build, as I figured it would take a lot lomger, and just be easier for me to duo with my 55. Now that I see this build even goes faster than duo, I will surely try this out. I'll be jacking up my necro this weekend, and will hopefully have it done soon.
Thanks again, man.

i guess that proves that all the videos, screenshots, and soloing and every n/me and mo/w team at toa, and every other source of invinci builds are false when it comes to UW

Well I have to say that as a 55 monk normally, with very little experience of UW (only about 3 runs), I am struggling a little with this build.
I haven't even made it to the Grasping's yet, and have thrown 30k at it last night.
However. I would like to congratulate KCP on a fantastic build, description and video.
Although I haven't cleared all the Aatxes yet, I am getting better with every run and I have already had 2 ecto drops, so am only down about 17k atm. I have no doubt that with more practise, I will be able to do this.
It just seems to be a case of getting the "knack" of taking out the nightmares.
Thanks to KCP for giving us all the opportunity to run UW without the risk of getting scammed.
BTW - Can you still "hide" behind the ghost, as I haven't successfully managed it when I have had a long-distance or double nightmare spawn.

Holy damage doesn't ignore ps.... Only "damage" that ignores ps is Life Stealing which isn't technically classified as damage.

Always select the last enemy in the group you are planning to aggro that way if a nightmare appears all you have to do is press your tab key 1x and press space, then you have a dead nightmare. You will know with experience if the 2nd wand hits is going to kill it. If you are uncertain as to the death of the nightmare with your second wand attack quickly press your run button AS soon as the second wand attack leaves your wand,( if you don't have a button designated on your keyboard to run you should make one, "R" is the normal key.) If the nightmare rends recast PS, SB as soon as possible. Then run to safe area and recast maintained enchants, then go about your business.

heh, this is the hardest part i think, getting the nightmares before they get you. i tried clicking too (and wasted some k's...). i wish i had seen this before i had seen your vid. maybe you can add this info in your first post? and maybe a short video about getting around the first aatxes and nightmares, if not too much asked?
i hope i get the chance to try this asap.
which reminds me... i wanted to ask you if you use this sequence:
1) start with 20%enchant wep - prot spir, spir bond
2) switch to 20/20wand - aggro - kill nightmares
3) switch back to 20%enchant, manage & kill aggro
that any good?
btw, i seen you gone in today and requested you to take me with you, which you did. very kind of you, thanks, i might want to tag along for another run (IGN gretchen vermilion).

I will upload the typical nightmare clearing in first room , after that you shouldn't really worry about them unless you spring one with some coldfires or something. It's just me leading the aatxe thru the chamber picking off nightmares as they appear, granted there was no 2 nightmare spawns but there was that nightmare at the top of the steps and it gives alot of people problems. I will upload a 2 Dn spawn at first steps once I get it to happen.
At the end I show you where the safe spot is for those wondering. Although I didn't use it
I will also post a short clip of the 3 packs of squids in case anyone questions how easy they are. Once you learn to relax against them they are a breeze.
I will put the links in the guide, updated the nightmare targeting as well since it's helped so many people.

I'm a pretty experienced UW farmer, but for some reason I seem to be having trouble dropping the graspings. I can drop the 2 groups of 3 graspings but whenever I try to tackle the group of 4 that spawns on the left...I die. I SS them before I aggro cast PS right before they're in range to use Distracting Blow followed by SB before they use Fear Me!. They'll sit there and attack me with Flurry up which causes my health to sit around the 20 health range or lower. Then with 2-3 hits left before they die I'll die due to lack of SB being triggered.
So, do you swap to your 105 health set in case of emergency or am I just doing something wrong here? (I didn't notice if you used RH on the graspings)

If one or two lag behind in the initial attack you can hex another one with SS that has the higher life out of the group. And you really shouldn't be running out of energy. I'm almost always at full energy after a battle with them due to only casting 3 spells , tanking all the hits, and soul reaping at the end.
If I add in a second cast of Spiteful, i'm still pretty close to full when it all ends too. You can cast 1 or 2 it's up to you, I'm just trying to make everything simple. Feel free to wand them after your initial cast of PS and SB with your enchant weapon if you notice one has more health then the rest.

oh btw, where did you pick up your 20/20 Curses wand. I've checked GuildWiki and I can't seem to find any collectors/crafters with one in Tyria or Canthan.

Is there a real need for mending?

the safety bout this build is being 55 & sbond. you could go sbond only but that's tricky with the squiddies, since they do not always trigger sbond.
mending also cancels out the bleed done by aatxes.

To prove I'm not such a bad person I will reply,
Squids with no aatxe
Accidental coldfires without smites
Bleeding
Less healing involved, meaning more pulling, faster runs
Low health covers all of the above with mending at +3.
Again all of this was covered in the guide.
Also mentioned in the guide,
You don't need mending with higher life.
*Updated links to the videos in the guide check them out if need be for those people interested.
